NX 1926 – Hole and Thread Callout

NX 1926 - Hole and Thread Callout (New Command)

  • Command Path – Menu > Insert > Dimension > Hole and Thread Callout
  • Keyboard Shortcut – No shortcut

Prior to NX 1926, Hole and thread callout options were available within drafting linear and radial dimension commands.

NX 1899 - Hole Callout option in Radial Dimension Command

In NX 1926, there is new ‘Hole and Thread Callout‘ command introduced. Now you can easily create and edit hole callouts using this command.

With new command, the hole callout options are now removed from Linear Dimension and Radial Dimension command dialogs. This new command improves the user and discoverability experience in drafting application.

Using this new command, you can create callouts for following type of holes

  1. General hole
  2. Drill size hole
  3. Screw clearance hole
  4. Threaded hole
  5. Symbolic hole
